A Little Bit Of Heart And Soul

The lyrics to that song have been going through my head all day like a gigantic brain worm.  Remember T’Pau?  Kind of a one hit wonder with the song “Heart and Soul” in 1987?  If you’re too young to remember, search it on You Tube and then just try to get it out of your head.  Go ahead.  I dare you.
I found this sweatshirt on clearance at Old Navy for just a hair over $6.  Sweet deal, right?  I thought so, so I also got one that says “Hello There” just because it amuses me.  The funny thing about this particular phrase is twice today I told my classroom aide, “I have no soul.” After the second time I pointed out that perhaps I was wearing it with just a hint of irony.
As per usual, when I wear a sweatshirt to work, I paired it with a little something fancier on bottom and some bling up top.  Because really, if you’re going to wear a sweatshirt to work you should probably make an effort to jazz it up a bit.

I love this outfit. The red pants, the leopard heels, great necklace and the graphic sweatshirt…A+++ lady. And I totally remember that song BTW, and now thanks to you I will be singing it over and over in my head all day long. Between coughing spells that is. Have a great weekend!
