Okay, seriously. I’m am tired of sitting here staring at the blinking cursor on my screen. It is literally exhausting. I have a thousand stories to tell, yet today I have nothing to say…
THE STORY
…so perhaps, for today, we’ll leave it at that. No story, but hey, what I’m lacking in words I’m making up for in leaves. Have I been killin’ it on the Fall foliage shots lately or what? Not bad if I do say so myself. This my friends is why I love Fall; I mean I absolutely adore it. It’s almost like Mother Nature saves all of her best material for a final hurrah before that hell beast known as Winter sets in. So for today, enjoy a little boho style inspiration and all of the gorgeousness that Mother Nature has in her arsenal…
THE OUTFIT
I bought this Free People boho tunic second hand about a year ago and I have worn the crap out of it. I’ve worn it over shorts and with my chiffon skirt extender and these same boots. Plus, I’ve worn it on plenty of occasions when it didn’t make the blog. I guess you could say that it’s more than earned it’s place in my closet. I think the neutral colors and the length are what make it so versatile. It goes with so many things and the length is in that sweet spot where I can style it as a top or throw an extender under it and it works as a dress. It can’t be beat in regard to versatility.
Instead of just letting the sweater hang loose in all it’s glory I decided to knot it for something different. The over the knee boots were perfect for keeping the legs warm while not being too covered up since there’s just a chill in the air and not an arctic wind…at least not yet.
THE TIP
Look for pieces that offer variety in how you can style them. A one trick pony is okay every once in awhile, but the more versatile a piece is obviously the more wear you’ll get out of it.
