Buffalo Plaid

This is one of my favorites in my plaid shirt collection.  Yes, I said collection.  That would probably indicate more than one.  Quite possible more than two.  I also have a camo collection and a small sequin collection.  Oh, and let’s not forget about the necklaces.  Don’t judge.
In any case, this particular shirt is thicker than most so it’s warm and cozy.  And for some reason I have a particular fondness for buffalo plaid.  Therefore, it has attained favorite status.  You can’t go wrong with a maxi.  Underneath it I have hidden super thick cable knit leggings and wooly boots so I was warm and toasty all day.  On second thought, maybe you can go wrong with a maxi…a puppy and a maxi don’t mix.  It’s probably not too difficult to figure out why.  It was kind of like having a super cute, chubby, growling broach attached to the bottom of my skirt.

I kept looking for a picture of a puppy playing with your skirt. Love the necklace with that shirt.

Lovely maxi skirt! I like how maxi skirts are so comfortable, but seem more dressed up 🙂

Really like the black necklace with the shirt too 🙂

I know…you can have the same top on with jeans and no one notices, but switch to a maxi and people think you’re dressed up!

I love buffalo plaids too. Say, though, what has happened to flannel fabric this year? I am seeing “flannel” shirts in the men’s departments and also sometimes in women’s racks, but the fabric feels awful thin, and it doesn’t seem it would be at all cozy unless you wore a longsleeved mock or turtleneck under them all. Nice plaids, some of them, but so far, I pass on adding to my wardrobe. Yours looks super, glad you nabbed it!

I agree…I’ve only come across two that were actually heavier flannel, this being one of them. Not sure why that is…
