Burgundy Lace

I’ve had a rather tenacious case of the flu since Saturday.  It kind of feels like I’ve been run down by a truck.  I didn’t post yesterday, but I decided for today I would use some shots from last month that I never got around to using.  The outfits I’ve been sporting the last few days were definitely not something you wanted to see, trust me on this.  Unless it was something posted on a style blog for the walking dead, then maybe. Although I don’t think the way I’ve looked the last few days would have even qualified me for a stylin’ zombies blog.
Stop by Carolyn’s blog ccmcafeeperspective.com where I’m featured as her inspiration to give the plaid trend a try.

That skirt is so pretty! I actually just bought a burgundy lace shirt a couple of weeks ago…I guess I’m pretty consistent in liking that fabric!

Sometimes you just gotta mix it up a little….I’ve got a few more broach locations I need to try!

Great holiday outfit! Hope you are feeling better. It’s been so cold here lately, I didn’t get out to do an outfit post this week…. haha, lazy blogger.

I am so behind on blog stuff. I haven’t replied t comments or gotten around to other blogs as much as I want to. Between the puppy, flu, and holidays I just can’t seem to keep up with everything, so don’t feel bad!

You are so good for my ego! I love the skirt, but I need to find a way to wear it that doesn’t make my hips look as wide as I am tall!

That skirt is a versatile piece.. I can already imagine it with a more tapered top for the evening…

I need to try a more fitted top and maybe a belt with it to tame it down a bit…

Thanks Suzanne! I love the scarf…the plaid is so pretty and it’s super soft. It wasn’t originally an infinity scarf, so I made it into one.
Debbie 🙂
