Casual Tweed: Tweed Jacket, Boyfriend Jeans And Graphic Tee

I ordered this tee from Delia’s because c’mon, seriously, a boom box from the 80’s?! Who doesn’t need that in their life?  Anyhow, I love it…it’s super soft, drapes perfectly, and fits just right. But um ya, the speakers are lined up directly with the girls.  No matter how I tried to shift it or arrange it, there they were. Speakers right there in your face.  So I threw a jacket over it and called it a day.
And let me tell you about the jacket. I lusted after it at Target for months and months last year. Finally I found it on clearance for under $6. Yes, under $6. Unfortunately there were only petites left, and while it is true I’m Lilliputian in size I have a very broad back and shoulders which often makes buying petites difficult. This jacket was no exception. I had to go up two sizes for it to fit my back properly so I took it to my trusty seamstress and she fixed it right up. When you add in the additional cost, it was still about $15 less than the original price. All in all, not a bad deal.
Check my Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook for the new ‘do…

Oh Debbie! You crack me up { ‘the girls’ }. I should term my news ones that. Currently they are ‘bossoms’, hahahaha. Yes the jacket is the perfect item to place over the boom boxes accentuation’s. lol. But then HUH? $6 after stalking it all that time? My gosh you are one lucky shopper. I love the necklace in this outfit = PERFECTION! Thanks for joining our blog hop today, too! ♥

I once had floral stirrup pants that put two huge purple flowers on my butt…one for each cheek! :o) I had worn them a LOT before someone pointed it out, after that I would wear a long shirt, but always worried it might ride up.

Ha! Ya I get bored with it every few years…cut it off….then grow it back. That’s how I roll.
