Faux Leather Leggings, Layered Top & Leopard Pumps: An Apology

First of all, I wanted to start off with an apology to all of my blog-world friends. I have had so much crazy going on in my world recently that I have just not had time to visit and comment on your blogs. I do pop in and check out what’s going on, and I’ve been keeping relatively current with all of you who are on Instagram. But with that being said, I haven’t been commenting and making my presence known and for that I apologize. I’ve also been guilty of linking up and running…shame on me! I promise that once everything settles down to some semblance of normal in my life I’ll be back with a vengeance. I guess that’s either something to look forward to or fear, depending on your perspective I suppose.

I had been itching for some faux leather leggings for awhile now. The pair I picked up at Forever 21 last year had never quite fit properly; they had that weird back of the waist gap…you all know what I’m talking about.  I found this pair by Hue on sale at Nordstrom.com and decided to give ’em a go based on the reviews. They are fabulous! They fit like a glove and don’t get all crazy stretched out by the end of the day. They come in brown as well and I’d totally snatch them up if they had any left in my size. Since they are technically “leggings” I really felt like I needed to cover up my butt. Since I haven’t worn this soft layered top in quite awhile I decided it would do the trick. I also liked that the mauve/pink sheer layer softened up the edginess of the faux leather leggings. I threw on my new favorite leopard pumps and there ya have it.

Those leggings look awesome on you! What a cool & creative look! Such great back interest! Anyway, we all go through times when it’s hard to keep up on our blog reading and commenting. I’m sure we all understand that!

Love this look. It’s so chic. I buy Hue colored tights and find them much better quality than generic stuff at F21. Nordstrom is a great store. I have a N-Rack right next to my house. One of the only retail stores with large shoes sizes.

OMG, how do we do that? How do we synch up like that? Because I, too, have been on the lookout for fauxleather leggings and I did spy that pair at Nordy’s but ended up chancing three pairs from H&M instead. They’re coming in the post, but if you swear by yours, perhaps I’ll just go ahead and buy them and return the others. Do they fit true to size? Or should I size up/down?

This is one of my favourite outfits on you Debbie, I love everything about it. I like the back of your sweater and how your blouse hangs down and forms a peplum. I would love to own leather leggings and your leopard heels are gorgeous. Your floral scarf adds a splash of girliness and colour. A stunning look!
