Flowers And Lace: Pink Lace Dress, Floral Graphic Sweatshirt And Ankle Boots

I love this shade of pink. It’s just the right color of bright pink without being neon. It’s kind of the shade of Pepto-Bismal. One wouldn’t think a color associated with gastrointestinal medication would be pretty, but it really is. In my opinion, Pantone should have gone with Pepto Pink as it’s color of the year instead of Radiant Orchid. How much fun would that have been? Pepto Pink curtains for your living room anyone?
I just scored the sweatshirt at JC Penney over the weekend for around $10. It’s currently my new favorite, which is saying a lot considering my rather extensive collection of sweatshirts. It’s super soft and the material is that just right thickness…not too heavy, but not too thin either. It’ll be in heavy rotation on cool evenings all summer long. Originally I had on nude pumps, but the whole look was veering way too far in the girly direction, which I suppose it still is, but when I switched in the ankle booties that toned it down a hair.

Absolutely wonderful. The skirt is cute and the sweater is beautiful. A bright, beautiful and impressive look.

You’re right, it needed the booties. They make the outfit fun and sweet, but keep it from being so sweet that we’d need that Pepto-Bismal to get it down. :o)

I’m cracking up over here at your description of the color. It is a nice skirt though. 🙂
