This is one of my favorite skirts. I hunted high and low for the perfect leopard pencil skirt and was so happy when I found this one on Ebay. It’s stretchy so it’s comfortable and the print is gorgeous. I decided to pair it with my Medusa t-shirt because I like the mix of the print on the skirt and the graphics on the tee.
I love graphic tees. I’m always on the hunt for just the right ones. I do have certain requirements; it has to be soft with a kind of worn in feel and the graphic needs to not be juvenile. I have a particular soft spot for rock band tees. Just today I found a fabulous Pink Floyd tee at Target which I’m sure will be making an appearance in the near future. Funny thing is, I saw Pink Floyd in concert two different times and never bought a shirt at a concert…ahhh…hindsight is 20/20!
I used to enjoy watching Stacy and Clinton on What Not To Wear. It was a fun show to watch even if I didn’t necessarily agree with some of their styling ideas. They seemed to have an oddly peculiar dislike for graphic tees of any sort. Stacy would absolutely freak out if someone had a collection of concert tees. They would make people throw away some of the most excellent t-shirts and I’d be thinking, “Don’t throw those away, send them to me!” I mean geez, throw a blazer or cardigan over it, add some skinny jeans, heels, and a cool necklace and you’re good to go…

Style Tip: Paired with the right things (blazer, cardi, jeans, pencil skirt, statement necklace, killer shoes) a graphic tee can work no matter what your age.
