GAP broken in khakis / gray tank top / olive khakis / statement necklace / wedge sandals

Gray and Olive

How did it get to be July 15th already? Holy crap?! Summer vacation is just flying by this year. I have to be honest, I don’t wear long pants/jeans a whole lot in the summer. I typically stick to shorts and skirts because it’s just too hot. I miss my long pants though, so I sneak them in whenever I can.  I have the GAP broken-in khakis in about a zillion colors, but this olive green pair is my favorite.  They’re really versatile and go with so much.
Today I’m linking up with Patti at Not Dead Yet Style, Elena at DC in Style, and Claire at http://www.clairejustineoxox.com/ for their weekly blog hops.  It’s a lot of fun, so stop by for a visit!

Style Tip:  Don’t be afraid of mixing unexpected neutrals together, like tan/brown/camel accessories with gray.  Black is the obvious choice with gray, but browns work equally well and add a little something different.

Pants: GAP;  Tank top: Old Navy (similar);  Sandals:  JustFab; Necklace: JCPenney (no longer available);  Belt: old

Grey always confuses me when matching with other than black, but I just bought a pair of grey shoes so I need to get with it. Love your shoes here!

Thanks Marie! The shoes are actually super comfy too, which is a plus! I wasn’t sure about gray either, but I saw so many pics on pinterest mixing it with browns/tans that I thought I’d give it a try.
Thank you for stopping by!

Looking pretty sleek in your little tank, kiddo. Great look for summer, all the way around, up and down! Very sweet sandals as well. It really is all the little touches and subtle accessories that make this work beyond just summer casual. Great job styling!
