I don’t often wear this vest because as the post suggests, I kinda feel like Grizzly Adams. Or maybe a grizzly bear. Either way, not a look to aspire to. This thing has been around since the first time fur vests were cool…probably before I had hit any major birthdays with 0’s at the end of them. I do bust it out every once in awhile for an additional layer of warmth and that happens often enough that I still keep it around. Just recently I purchased another faux fur vest that is a much more flattering cut and fit, and I suspect that one will be in much heavier rotation.
I had been dying for a chambray dress for what seems like an eternity. I found this one at Old Navy. I have worn it once before, but it was one of those outfits that was just not that great so I didn’t blog it. I decided to wear it as a duster over my faux leather skinnies instead of as an actual dress this time and it turned out okay so I went with it.
