Holiday Hangover And A Fabulous Amazon Giveaway: Plaid Button Down, Boyfriend Jeans And Leopard Pumps

I do love the holidays, but the day after Christmas I breathe a sigh of relief every year. The stress of the annual holiday party, shopping, gift wrapping, all of it is finally done. And now I can get back to the business of being able to button my jeans again. I’ll admit it, I have absolutely zero self-control when it comes to holiday treats. If it’s in the house, I will eat it. I’m like a honey badger in a basket full of cobras. Gluttony at its finest my friends.
This outfit is all about the extras. First of all, the fabulous scarf. It was a gift from my best friend. It’s one of those rare scarves that has enough heft to keep you warm out in the elements, but yet it’s not too heavy to wear all day inside. And bonus points because it’s navy blue. Believe it or not, my rather massive scarf collection was lacking that particular shade. The shoes were the whipped cream on this particular sundae. I had tried these on at Target a year or so ago and they were just a hair too high and thus not comfortable. This year’s version seems to be just enough lower in the heel department to make them wearable. The cool thing is, they look expensive, but I snatched ’em up for under $20 at Target online awhile back.

I have been over indulging in everything way before the holidays and now stuck with wearing elastic waist band until I lose the weight 🙁 I love this outfit on you – great heels and what a find!

Very pretty. Like you, I welcome the holidays for their break in routine but equally bid them adieu when their demands get too high. Glad your scarf collection is now complete.

Hello Debbie! I really hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day spent together with your family and loved ones. You look beautiful in that red plaid shirt (when don’t you look beautiful!!) The navy blue fringed scarf is super adorable and the animal print heels like you said, are the icing on the cake or the whip cream on the sunday:-) You look super stylish and very chic as always. Hope the upcoming year brings you everything your heart desires. Take care my sweet friend. xoxo, Jeannette

Okay totally LOVE this outfit head to toe and can’t believe those pricey looking shoes are from Target! Yay Target! I have such a sweet tooth and even though I keep threatening to throw out the sweet treats we have left, somehow the only place they’ve been getting thrown is into my mouth! Dear God, I have a piece of chocolate in my mouth right this minute. Someone stop me! 😉

Love this look, Debbie! Leo print shoes were such a fab compliment to the plaid! I, too, have indulged in far too many goodies this holiday, and am looking f/w to a return in my generally less-festive days. 🙂 T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

Those leopard-print pumps are freakin’ ADORABLE, dearest Debbie!! And nobody would ever guess that you got them for under $20 at Target…they look way more “exclusive” than that!! Your Christmas scarf is awesome, too; love the fringes (of course!) and the deep navy colour next to your plaid shirt and boyfriend jeans!! The perfect post-holiday outfit!! XOXO
