Did you ever have one of those weeks where your routine is changed just one day and then the whole rest of the week is wonky? This was that week for me. It seems like it had twelve days instead of five (I’m talkin’ work week). Monday was a 10 to 6 workday instead 7:30 to 3:30 because it was parent/teacher conference day. It’s funny how just that one little change threw me off. And yes, I’m always exhausted by Friday, but this week it’s particularly harsh. I’m thinking I should maybe sleep until oh, I don’t know, maybe 2 o’clock Saturday. Ya, right.
This is that super awesome sweater I scored at the Nordstrom’s sale this summer. I dressed it up a bit more here, but I thought I’d put a more casual spin on it this time. I did the denim on denim thing for the first time too. I figured the sweater layered on top would make it less scary for me. No, I don’t have some weird double denim fear, I just had never done it prior to this…a denim on denim virgin if you please. I finished it with blue suede ankle booties and my often present neck bling and I was good to go.
