Since there aren’t too many weeks left where I can get away with wearing bright summery colors, I figured I had better go for it. And if by “going for it” I mean putting together every bright color I have, then I’m pretty sure I nailed it. I have every intention of working some neon into my winter-wear, but wearing so much brightness together definitely has a limited shelf life. Although if I got lost in a blizzard wearing this get up I’d be easy to find I’d imagine.
This would be the neon yellow 70’s era cardigan that belonged to my mom that I’d mentioned in my 13 questions post a few weeks back. That means she’s somewhere up above right now shaking her head and saying, “Debbie Lynn! Have you lost your damn mind? Why are you wearing that God-awful ratty yellow sweater of mine?!” I like to think I have taken it’s yellow awesomeness and made a fashion statement out of it. So there, mom.
PS…A big thank you to my fabulous husband for coming up with a way for me to focus my camera properly while taking my selfies. He’s a genius…one of the million and one reasons I love him!

Style Tip: Hold on to things that will become classic pieces in your wardrobe. Bonus points if they have sentimental value!
