I used a couple hits of color to liven up what would otherwise be a plain t-shirt and jeans kind of outfit. Not that there’s anything wrong with a plain tee and jeans get-up, but sometimes a girl wants a little somethin’ extra. I just got this top the other day from Conversation Pieces and I love it! It is so soft and airy…I can even wear it in this never-ending humidity and not feel like melting into a little puddle. The flower that I pinned to my top is actually for my daughter’s hair. I saw it hanging there and thought, “Why not?” The sandals are new too. They are for a wedding we are going to in August, but they’re so cute I couldn’t make them wait in the closet for another month! My daughter helped pick them out…she was so happy when I actually went with the ones she chose. She’s got some fabulous taste, don’t you think?
