Why make believe? That would be because my husband and I prefer to stay home on New Year’s Eve, so my idea of a New Year’s Eve outfit is pajamas. It’s not only because we have a child. We are just happier staying home together than being out in all of the craziness. It’s what makes us happy, so that’s what we do.
But if we were to go out, this would be something I would wear. I really do love this skirt, and the poor thing just doesn’t get out of my closet all that much. There. Now I have a New Year’s resolution. Sometime in the next month I’m going to style this skirt so I can wear it to work. Normally I don’t make resolutions because typically you’re just setting yourself up for failure. But wear a sequin skirt to work? That I can do.
