My little girl has wanted to make an appearance on my blog since I started it a few months ago. We went to a bridal shower last weekend and both of us wore neon lace dresses. Of course in my mind, that was a blog photo op! Isn’t she just too cute? The dresses were actually bought on separate occasions, months apart, but once the similarities occurred to me I thought, “So nerdy, it’s cool, right?” My dress has already made an appearance here before, but this time I switched out the shoes and accessories to dress it up a bit.

Style Tip: Don’t be afraid of color. Neutrals are great, but color can really liven up your closet. If it seems too overwhelming, start with something small like bright shoes, a handbag or other accessories.
