Minty Pink

This outfit is this close to being too girly for me, but the distressed jeans toughen it up just enough.  I’ve worn the peplum top before with a black cami under it which also tones down the pastel and lace combination.  I tried it with a pink belt, but it wasn’t working for me because it was a bit too loose.  If it had fit right, it would have looked good.  That’s one area where my wardrobe is lacking.  I have plenty of belts to wear with jeans and pants, but not many smaller ones that work higher up around my waist.  Of course I threw in my new pink flats because they’re awesome!
Today’s link ups are: Not Dead Yet Style and clairejustineoxox where I was chosen as one of this week’s features! Hop over and check it out!

Style Tip:  If an outfit leans to far in one direction, for example too girly or to masculine, throw in an opposing element to balance it out.

Peplum top: Walmart (no longer available) similar;  Cami: Amazon;  Jeans: JCPenney (no longer available);  Shoes: Windsor

That’s a fresh combination, and you look very feminine and summery. Pink and green are naturals together, and I like the pink, pointy-toe flats so much. Cute!
