Neon Colorblock

How many bright colors can you cram into one outfit? Well, in this case, three.  I considered bright shoes, but decided nude pumps were the way to go.  I didn’t want the shoes to be the tipping point into visual overload. Nor did I want to be clearly visible in my yard if the Google Earth satellite decided to snap a picture.  Like the shoes would’ve made a difference. This top is pretty noticeable…it’s like a glow stick, you can see it in the dark.  But that’s why I love it.  I’m going to make it my personal mission to find a way to style it for fall/winter.  I don’t care if everyone else is wearing black, grey, and oxblood. Sometimes a little color just brightens your day.
Today’s link ups are: the Trend Spin Link Up: ColorblockingStyle Sessions: Fashion Link Up; Monday Bloom and the Real Girl Style Weekly Fashion Link Up.

Style Tip:  Don’t be afraid of color.  If all over color is too intimidating, start with something small like shoes, a belt or jewelry.  Even a little bit of bright will perk up an outfit.

Top: JCPenney;  Pants: GAP;  Shoes: Target (no longer available); Necklace: VeryJane

You look so good in that color blouse! I have to admit I’m afraid of color, you won’t ever see me in red.
