gray sweatpants / JC Penney / Sears / Steve Madden / white tank top

Pajama Day

So, let me explain the rationale behind this get up.  For the last several months I’ve been intrigued by the pictures I’ve been seeing of sweats paired with blazers and heels of some sort like this one.  I thought it was kind of a cool juxtaposition of super casual and dressy, but seriously, where was I going to wear sweats and a blazer?  Well, as anyone who has ever worked in a public school can attest, there are often theme type days for things like school spirit, anti-drug campaigns, etc.  I don’t typically participate in such shenanigans, but when Pajama Day popped up the other day my first thought was, “Hell yeah! Sweats and a blazer.”  And yes, these are actually pants that I sleep in.  Go figure. An opportunity for cutting edge fashion presented itself in an elementary school.
