Pink Cowboy Boots

I’ve had these boots for years, but they rarely get to come out and play.  I was in the process of reaching for my gray boots when I saw these sitting beside them.  I thought, “Hmmm…now these would definitely be unexpected.”  And as startling as they may be, they are pretty cool. It’s not everyday you see boots like this, now is it?  As if the color weren’t enough, I decided to wrap a necklace around one of them for a bit of ornamentation…you know, because the boots weren’t attention-grabbing enough on their own.  One of my coworkers said that I should wear them every day with everything.  That might be a bit excessive, but I do think I’ll allow them out of the closet more often than once every ten years or so.

Style Tip:  Use accessories in different ways then they were intended. For example, use a necklace as boot bling or as a bracelet.  Use a broach as a hair clip or to cinch a shirt or cardigan closed instead of a knot.

I love adding something a little unexpected! I have a pair of brown cowboy boots, but I’m sure I would go for a brighter color too, if I had the chance!

Those boots are crazy fun! Reminds me of my green ones that I need to feature now that it is boot weather. You know our weather has warmed up and it is so nice in the days now – like a long autumn, yippppeeee!
