Representin’ For The Hometown: Blue Watercolor Pencil Skirt, Graphic Tee, White Button Down And White Pumps

The area that I live in is really rather odd. I live in  Reynolds, but you won’t find that on a map anywhere. No, really. It doesn’t exist as it’s own town. It is the name of the school district I live in, but my mailing address is the town a few miles from here. But just a short ways away (I could walk there) is a small town~and I use the term loosely~called Transfer. It gets its name from the fact that many moons ago it was a railroad transfer hub…hence, Transfer…witty, right? Anyhow, to make a long story short, I saw this tee in our local teeny tiny grocery store one day. I. Had. To. Have. It. Why? I have no clue, I just thought it was the coolest thing ever and totally original.  It’s not something you’ll ever see on anyone else.  No other fashion blogger in the whole wide world will ever be wearing this particular t-shirt. While it’s true I have no problem wearing a trend if it’s to my liking, I do love things that are original. This tee would be it.
Now, I’m not saying if you take a cruise through the local trailer park you won’t see it, but it would probably be “styled” so differently from mine you wouldn’t even recognize it. No, I’m not hatin’ on the trailer park…I’m one of the original children of the park. Maybe that’s why I was so drawn to it in the first place…you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl!

That tee is such a cool purchase! I don’t think the little suburb I live in would have anything like that!

Would’ve never thought our town would either…I believe it was to raise funds for the volunteer fire department…

So much fun you found that t-shirt. I live in Mississauga and have yet to find that on a tee. Even if I did I doubt I’d wear it! LOL Most people can’t pronounce the Indian name. I’m just a 15-20 minute drive into Toronto and we are still considered part of the Greater Toronto Area.

Haha! I say we’re a suburb of Greenville…it’s a town of a few thousand just up the road. 🙂

What a fun tee, and that skirt color is stunning on you. The statement necklace dresses it up beautifully.

I love the print of that skirt! I don’t have any non-black pencil skirts–but it might be nice to have a fun one!

I’ve got them in lots of colors and prints…I’m more of a skirt girl than a dress girl.

Graphics like this are so much more interesting if they have meaning! You represent really, REALLY well … your town should be proud. And the park! I’m in tiny-town here as well. I’ve never really adapted as an urban girl, but maybe someday I’ll grow to appreciate it. But I’ll never look this good. I don’t think there’s a tee-shirt for our town!

I still miss my electric lime green Texas shirt I had as a teen! You just reminded me of it. :o)
