Ring Of Fire: Black Shirtdress, Black Faux Leather Pants And Leopard Ankle Boots

You get the reference, right? How many times today do you think I got the Johnny Cash comment? A lot. I think that’s fabulous though because nobody could rock the all black look like Johnny. He should of had some leopard print boots though. The man could of totally owned it. And can I just say I am lovin’ these boots? Yes, I said I’m done with boots and want my shoes back, but really, c’mon…look at these babies. I’ve been hunting for the perfect pair for months and happened upon these on Amazon. Last pair in my size, regularly $150 on sale for $35. What’s not to love? Maybe I’ll wear ’em all summer. No. No, I won’t. But I do love them just the same.
I’ve been wanting to try the dress over pants thing for a long time, but couldn’t find a pairing that worked. Then I remembered…this dress was in storage in the attic on the Island of Misfit Clothes. So I rescued it from purgatory, threw it on over my faux leather pants and a turtleneck and voila! The most fabulous all black get up since Johnny Cash roamed the Earth.

Hey now…don’t be hatin’ on the plaid! Ha! It’s my current obsession, I love it, and I only wear once every couple of weeks… Just call me the “Queen of Plaid”! 🙂
