Today was Rock Star day at school, part of a theme week to get the kids psyched up for state assessments next week. I don’t usually play along, but occasionally I will. Today was one of those days because you know I had the right clothing for it. Normally I wouldn’t wear my faux leather skinnies to work, but they were well suited for the festivities, and I made sure to top them with a long cardi to give me some coverage in the rear. And what Rock Star day would be complete without my very favorite Def Leppard tee? Funny thing is, I got this one at Target and I like it better than my actual concert tees. I threw on a couple spiked necklaces and my leopard booties and I was good to go.
I decided to be brave and start throwing in some shots with my glasses on. Why? Well, a couple of reasons. First off, these are new and I’m kinda diggin’ them. Second, I’ve been supposed to wear my glasses all of the time for several years now and I haven’t been. I just feel more like me without them…they kind of bug me sitting on my face and I can’t wear contacts because of my astigmatism. But in light of the fact I pretty much can’t see without them anymore I figured I had better get used to them.
Tomorrow is camo day…do you guys think I’ll be able to pull something together for that?! Ha! The only thing I might have more of than camo is plaid…
