Sequin Clutch & Cropped Joggers: Zombeavers

sequin clutch, cropped joggers, leopard wedges

No, I did not make up the post title. Yesterday was a cold (okay, cold for June) and gloomy Sunday. I stayed in my jammies all day and we watched movies on Netflix. Well, the hubs and I stumbled upon a little gem called “Zombeavers”. Yes, my friends that is an actual movie. And being the mental equivalent of a twelve year old boy, I decided we had to watch it. Considering the fact that “Joe Dirt” and “Son in Law” are two of my favorite movies ever this should come as no surprise. Did “Zombeavers” win an Academy Award? No. Was it ever even actually released in theaters? Um, no. Was it worth wasting an hour and 15 minutes on when you have nothing else to do? Hells ya if you’re the maturity challenged type of person I am. It was every bit the ridiculously funny cheesefest the title promised. I swear to God it probably cost all of $73 to make, and it was worth every penny. Just the title alone makes me break into a giggling fit.

I love, love, love this graphic tee. Along with the twelve year old boy in my head who controls my sense of humor, there’s a twelve year old girl who loves sequins and sparkles. Of course this tee could be sported sans sequins, but I figured I’d throw in my sequin clutch to give it, you know, some credibility. If you’re gonna talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk… And what’s better with sequins than jogger pants? Nothing, I say. Why? Because when you’re sportin’ sequins, nobody is expecting the joggers. The key to combining the unexpected in your outfits? Confidence, plain and simple. If you’re going to wear it, then you have to own it. In my book, the unexpected is way more fun than the expected (sequins and Chucks anyone?). Life’s short…wear what makes you happy…even if it’s sequins with joggers.

LOVE THIS AND I TRULY AGREE WITH THAT T-SHIRT. Choosing a statement crystal necklace and gold sequin clutch (which are both beautiful) is a perfect way to agree/go with that quote, also. =D

And I say Amen to that sister! Life is short. Love this look on you especially the leopard print sandals – very sexy indeed – and the bling finishes the look perfectly.

And everyone needs a cheesefest every now and then. Glad you had such a chilled out day.
