Yes, I know that probably the more technical fashiony term for this skirt is “high/low” or “asymmetrical hem”, but really isn’t “mullet skirt” just more fun? Business in the front and party in the back, that’s right baby. I would imagine this is one of those trends that is on the “out” side of a lot of what’s in and what’s out lists. Maybe it’s so out it’s not even making the lists anymore. But so what. I love ’em so I’ll keep on wearing “em.
This outfit seemed to be one of those weird universally appealing looks. Not only did I get compliments from both genders there didn’t seem to be any age limits either. Of course little girls loved it, I mean seriously, there’s sequins involved. But I had at least four little boys approach me to tell me they liked my outfit, the youngest one being about seven. How cute is that? If you’re a boy under the age of ten who willingly approaches a female just to tell her she looks pretty, I’d say you have a successful career with the ladies ahead of you.
I have a favor to ask of all of you. If you wouldn’t mind taking just a minute to go to http://specials.people.com/realbeauty/ and voting for me I would be so very appreciative! Simply follow the link, type “Deborah” in to the “find a beauty” search box and click on the heart under my picture. That’s it…super easy!
