Stripes and Spots

I have so many striped tops that I wear all of the time, so I thought today I’d let my striped infinity scarf get a little love! Infinity scarves are perfect because they require minimal fuss…you just throw it on and you’re good to go!  I paired it with a plain black peplum tee and denim skirt so that it would really stand out.  And for the finishing touch, my favorite leopard pumps.
Today I’m linking up with Erin for the Trend Spin Stars & Stripes Link Up, Lauren for her Style Sessions Fashion Link Up, Tori for her Anything & Everything Blog Hop, and Amber for the Real Girl Style Link Up.

Style Tip:  Use leopard print as a neutral.  You can pair leopard print with most anything whether it be a solid color or another complementary print.

Scarf: WalMart (available in-store);  Top: Delia’s (no longer available) similar;  Skirt: GAP via Ebay;  Shoes: Dorothy Perkins (no longer available);  Watch: Target

Love how you mixed the leopard and stripes and I totally agree that animal prints are neutrals! This is a great look on you & the lines of that skirt are so flattering.

Love the pattern mixing. I haven’t mixed much with leopard or any other animal print and need to give it a try.
