In the last couple months I’ve donated four yard

In the last couple months I’ve donated four yard-cleanup size garbage bags full of clothes that have just been taking up space in my attic.
And I’m not done yet.

I’m reorganizing my closets & my cupboards.
I’ve eliminated countless knickknacks & years worth of accumulated junk drawer shit.

Awhile back something inside me shifted & I knew it was time to clear out all of the unnecessary nonsense that was cluttering up my life…both literally & metaphorically.

And I’ve been absolutely merciless.
If it’s no longer useful to me or doesn’t make me happy then it’s gone.

I feel so much lighter…mentally, physically & emotionally.
I feel free.
I feel like I can breathe.
It feels like a big “f*ck yeah!” when I look around & see my progress.💥

What’s not so easy is getting yourself unstuck.

You want so badly to move forward with your life & with your dreams, but day after day you just don’t do a damn thing about it.🤷🏼‍♀️

You can feel the itch deep down in your bones to go after whatever it is you want most, but yet here you are~ doing the same exact thing today that you did yesterday & the day before & the day before that…you get the idea.

And I bet if you’re being honest with yourself, it probably really didn’t happen “all of a sudden” either…

I’m sure you’ve heard this a thousand times before, but how you feel in your clothes impacts how you show up in every other area of your life.
Seriously. It really does.

Your outfit matters.

This outfit for example, checked off all the boho/rock & roll boxes & made my little rebel heart happy. I felt totally fucking badass while I was wearing it.

And that energy was what I put out in the world.♥️

So, put some thought into what you’re putting on your body.💭

Get dressed with intention.🩷

Wear whatever it is that makes you happy.😁

To change, develop, make more complex; To come forth gradually into being…yes please!😁

My word of the year for 2024 is Evolve.
2023 was all about breaking down what already existed whether I wanted to or not. This year is going to be about growing…changing…evolving.

I prefer the gentler more overarching guidance of a woty as opposed to a more focused goal specific resolution.
It just feels more motivating to me.
