You wouldn’t know it from these pictures, but just hours later all was white. I know I was complaining about the weather Friday, but that was before we had a lake effect snow warning from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning…six to ten inches…say what?! The high today was 22 degrees and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet. We don’t normally get smacked with lake effect snow storms until January, so needless to say I’m none to happy with that little bit of business. In case you haven’t picked up on it, I’m not a huge fan of snow. It’s pretty to look at if I don’t have to go outside in it, but considering the fact I need to remain gainfully employed staying holed up all winter in cozy pj’s and a blanket isn’t an option.
On to happier things. These pants. Really diggin’ ’em. I have resisted the faux leather pants trend for a long time. The faux leather MC Hammer pants don’t count because they’re baggy and loose, although I guess they were kind of like my gateway drug of faux leather pants. These aren’t leggings, but they are considerably tighter than the baggy ones. I threw them on Saturday for grocery shopping and a road trip to a real mall with a Target. Yes, my criteria for a real mall includes a Target, and a 35 minute drive constitutes a road trip. In any case, the pants passed the comfortable test so they’re keepers.
