The Scarlet Letter: Monogrammed Sweater And Boyfriend Jeans

Surprisingly, this simple “S” sweater was quite the conversation starter.  Even more so than the “Heart And Soul’ sweatshirt.  People had all kinds of thoughts on what the “S” stood for.  I picked it up during my after Christmas Old Navy binge for $12.  I got it in a medium so that it would be a bit slouchy, but actually a small probably would have been a better choice.
Being petite, but curvy sometimes makes clothes buying a challenge, especially with tops and dresses. The years of weight lifting add to the issue because I also have a broad back and shoulders.  I actually own more separates than dresses because it’s so difficult to find a dress that fits right. Sometimes tailoring just can’t fix the problem.  That’s part of the reason that I buy multiples when I find something that fits well.

GREAT ENSEMBLE DEBBIE! I love it so much. It all goes together really well. I love the floral peaking out on the underside. Hey, I didn’t know you were so tiny. There is no way I could choose between a small or a medium. Maybe with my new small boobies, I might wear a medium. hope hope. lol I’m like you in that I don’t buy many dresses because of the issue of the top versus the bottom sizing. I wear a size 10 (11) jeans and medium skirts but a L to XL on the top. Not fun. {again… Read more »

As long as you continue the link up, I’ll be there. It is hard when your top doesn’t match your bottom! It’s definitely a rough way to go about it, but I hope you love your new girls once you get them.

Well it is quite obvious that the “S” stands for Suzanne and you’ve stolen my sweater! Duh. LOL

Is that a brooch you are wearing with it? Or part of the sweater?

I love the bit of floral peeking out the bottom.

bisous
Suzanne

The colors of the monogramed sweater look so nice with your hair. Looks cozy too! I hate an itchy sweater.

I have a Letter necklace with a random letter of the alphabet…I purposely picked it with no meaning at all so that people could always guess what it stood for! 😛

Isn’t it fun to confuse people…that’s so cool that you did that!

Its all about letters and words right now! I love this one, love the pop of red. Doesn’t it seem like red is always hooked up with black?

Yes! That’s why I loved this one with the heathered tan instead of black.

I do like it, sometimes I’m just not sure though because sometimes slouchy doesn’t play well with my frame.
