That title sounds like the opening line to some kind of New Age joke, doesn’t it? Something like the sun, the moon and a leopard walk into a bar… No? Well, it gave me a little giggle. So, the Forever 21 website describes these pants as “trousers”. I beg to differ. These are straight up lounge pants. And I mean that in the best possible way. They’re a comfortable perfectly slouchy blend of cotton and rayon and they hang just right. I first spotted them on the gorgeous Tara at Northern Lights-Southern Belles.com and they screamed my name so loudly I had no choice but to snatch up a pair for myself. Come on, admit it. Clothes often speak to you too, right?
This week is a theme week at school in preparation for state testing next week. Tomorrow is rock star day, but one of my lovely coworkers told me I looked like a rock star today. These pants are actually kind of Steven Tyler-esque don’t you think? And really, I think everyone could use a little Steven Tyler in their lives. Not in the drugs and alcohol rehab kinda way, but more in the livin’ on the edge taking fashion risks and enjoying life kinda way.
