I really didn’t think about it until I went to write this post that on Thursday during the day at inservice training I wore black and white. Then I wore it again at Open House that same night. And the really peculiar thing is, the outfit I’m considering wearing on the first day of school tomorrow is also black and white…hmmm… Maybe I should rethink that and wear something else. I wouldn’t want to become predictable. Oh, the horror.
In any case, I was going for comfort while not looking like a schlub. I knew I’d be sitting in uncomfortable chairs all day, fidgeting like a hyperactive kid so I at least needed comfy clothes. Hence, the joggers, tank top and Converse. And since I knew the building where I would be spending my day was air conditioned to polar vortex levels, a top layer was a necessity. In came the blazer to save the day while at the same time classing up the outfit just a notch. That my friends is how you wear joggers to work…comfy on the bottom, but classy on the top.
