This post goes out to my good friend Renae at Simple Sequins. She’s currently in the process of kicking the crap out of cancer. She’s one of the coolest bravest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. If you haven’t already gotten to know Renae, please take a minute to visit. Today is the first day of Easter break. Yesterday should’ve been…damn snow make up days! Anyhow, I so need this brief respite from work. I gotta tell ya, in the last few weeks some hugely major changes have rocked my world and I need to just chill for a few days and get my head around it all. No worries…none of it is bad, and when I can share I will. I’m just one of those people who does not adapt well to change, regardless of whether it’s good or bad. Sometimes it seems like your world is moving along at an even keel, when out of nowhere you just get blindsided by a big dump truck full of crazy. And for some reason, at least in my experience, it’s never just one dump truck. It’s two. Or three. And one backs up just to make sure the job is done right. In any case, I’ll give myself a little mental readjustment over the next four days and I’ll be good to go. Happy Easter my lovelies!
