Today was the first day of the season that the husband and I got to take the bike out for a ride (bike meaning motorcycle). Nothing compares to being on a bike on a beautiful sunny day. It’s hard to explain. Everything just seems more real…the wind in your face, the sun on your back and you’re moving through it…you’re just able to feel it all more. And the smells…the flowers, the trees, the water when you’re going past the lake, perfection. And no, I was not wearing shorts and sneakers on a motorcycle, but the jeans and boots were a tad too hot once we got home so I switched to shorts and slip-ons.
And let’s talk about these slip-ons for a minute. Can I just tell you how lazy I’ve gotten? After acquiring my ever present leopard slip-ons I decided that was definitely the way to go with sneakers. Why be bothered with all that extra tedious work involved in shoelaces? So when I came across these on sale for $9 at Payless, could I really walk away? They have cute little polka dots and cherries…but wait! No. Those aren’t cherries, they’re tiny red skulls!! How sweet is that?
Now for the tee. I discovered this fabulous little business on Pinterest, MyPebbyForevee.com. They have the coolest sayings on either off the shoulder tees or muscle tanks. I was so excited when it arrived the other day and couldn’t wait to give it a spin. The material is super soft and just the right thickess. It’s really crazy comfortable and I’m lovin’ it. No doubt there are a few more of these gems in my future.
