Why, Oh Why?: Embroidered Sweatshirt, Skinny Jeans, Fauxverses And Pendant Necklace

Let’s all take a moment of silence for tragic and untimely death of the fabulous “Why?” tank top…last seen here:

What brought about this catastrophic loss to my wardrobe? You can all probably take a guess…the damn dryer. I’m sure you’ve all experienced that gut wrenching moment when folding a load of laundry, you pick up an item that should not have been in there and shriek, “Oh sh*t!!” or some similar phrase that conveys the same meaning. Well, last night was that moment for me. Oh, the humanity! When will I ever learn to put the load in the dryer item by item as opposed to one giant wet mass? Maybe now.
While I am saddened by the loss, over the weekend I indulged in some emotional shopping due to the dump trucks of crazy I spoke of Friday, so there might be another graphic tee or two to soothe my grief in the near future. Yes, my friends. I am guilty of a bit of emotionally generated shopping now and again. I gotta say, between that and really thinking about the upcoming changes in my world I’ve taken it all in and am actually kind of excited…again, I’ll share soon.
On to the outfit. This was just a day off work going to get groceries look. I do love this sweatshirt. I’ve worn it a few times, but it’s never made it to the blog so I thought it’s time had come. While it’s not necessarily the best cut for me, the embroidery on the sleeves is so pretty I wear it anyway. I thought the fauxverses (faux Converses for those of you who aren’t used to my made up words) complemented the flowers as did the fabulous pendant necklace.

Argh! I want your Fauxverses! Stat! Those are the exact color I’ve been covering ever since I vowed to own Chucks in every color!

I do agree that the pendant complements the sweatshirt brilliantly.

I’m sorry for the loss of your Why but hopefully you found a fun replacement?

See you on Visible Monday tomorrow!

Ok, I love the converse look and the jeans with holes and the cool necklace. I loved the close up of the necklace. I appreciate close ups. I do them, cuz I appreciate them. Funny how that works. Thanks for voting for my mojo to return. I needed that! ♥, Renae

Darling girl! Sad for the shirt, you look adorable in your well styled and pretty sweatshirt plus necklace. Emotional shopping is okay. I hate it that you are anything less than happy as can be. I hope everything gets better fast!
I’ve nominated you for a Wonderful Team Readership Award … it’s not one you have to figure out a bunch of personal factoids … its about your fabulousness as a great reader! Hope it’s fun rather than a chore, so ignore it if it’s too much! Just know I think you’re EXCELLENT!

I’m guessing you are moving…am I right?

Normally it is my husband that ruins things in the dryer. That only happens when I’m sick though otherwise he never does laundry. Such a shame since that sweatshirt really did sum up life so well.
