A Little Bit Of Paisley And A Lot Of Pain: Print Lounge Pants, Graphic Tee And Gray Cardigan

Alas my friends, I am not quite as badass as I like to think I am. I did go to work, but only made it until 8:30…the kids weren’t even there yet. So I drug my sorry butt back home took some pain medication, buried my face in a heating pad, my body in dogs and went to sleep. I am unfortunate in that I come from people with bad teeth. Regardless of how well I take care of them, they always have issues. This is my 8th (yes, 8th) root canal. I’m a pro at this by now. But I gotta tell ya, this was by far the worst one ever. When the dentist finishes and asks if you’d rather have a prescription for vicodin instead of Tylenol with codeine you gotta know it’s not going to be fun. I’m feeling a bit better now though so I think by morning I’ll be good to go.
When I put this outfit together, comfort was really my only consideration since I wasn’t feeling well. I guess that turned out to be a moot point since I ended up on the couch in my pajamas anyway. I think I did a pretty good job of not looking like I was in too much pain when I did these shots. How’s that for dedication? My face was throbbing, but I still took the outfit pictures. Now that I think about it, maybe there’s a fine line between dedication and stupidity…

Wow. You are a machine. There is no way I would have been taking photos of myself when I was in so much pain.

Hope you are starting to feel better now!

Oh my Debbie I so feel for you, I have had a few root canals and they are so horrible,I thought the dentist just hated me with the pain he caused me. Aww I hope the pain soon goes and your feeling better. Great outfit, love your new hair style, I noticed the other day but thought you curled it up 🙂

Thanks Claire…I cut it off a few weeks back because I was bored. Usually the pain after a root canal isn’t so bad, but man, this one was ridic!

Oh man, tooth pain can be the worst!! I’m sorry. And 8 root canals? My Mom’s had one, she said the pain she was in before the root canal, and the reason why they did it, was the worst pain she’d had in her life. I’m grateful that I haven’t had any tooth problems since I got my wisdom teeth pulled years ago!

I know, crazy right? I was just a kid when I had my first one in my very front tooth. Nothing worse than having weak teeth!
