Autumn Blooms

Something about the colors in this top seem kind of autumnal to me, I’m not sure what or why, but that’s just the vibe I get.  I wore this to a pumpkin festival my husband and I went to over the weekend so the fall vibe was perfect and the fact that it only cost $6.99 made it even better.
While we were there, for the first time ever, I tried deep fried Oreos.  I work out a lot and typically I eat right, but I do allow myself the occasional treat. I gotta tell ya, those little heart attack inducing calorie bombs were worth it.  How can you go wrong with an Oreo (nature’s perfect food) dipped in funnel cake batter then thrown into boiling oil?  Well, you can’t.  Yes I was slightly miserable afterwards.  But hey, you only live once, right?  At least I looked good while I had greasy powdered sugar all over my face.

Very pretty!! I definitely love the more fall-ish floral pattern. I’ve never been the biggest fan of fried sweets, though. I don’t even like donuts. I like my fried things salty, like fried chicken!

Thank you Rachel! You don’t like donuts?! You’re only the 2nd person I’ve ever known who didn’t like donuts!

Really pretty floral for fall. I love it paired with one of my personal favorite wardrobe pieces, the cardigan!

I like how you let the pretty shirt be the focus. Everything complements it, nothing distracts from it.

Fun top Debbie! And deep fried oreos sounds so dangerously good. I have tried deep fried twinkie and chocolate covered bacon and did not like either.

I love the colours again. So pretty with our hair : )

Ummmm oreo deep fried? Wow. I guess they say that everything deep fried tastes better. We were at a fair this weekend too and everything was also deep fried but none of us had anything. I often end up seriously regretting anything I eat at a fair.

Isn’t it fabulous that we now have someone else to try out colors/clothes for us to see how we would look?
Believe me I regretted it, but sometimes it’s worth it!

thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays,,,

I hope you are feeling ok Debbie, been thinking of you since Monday ((hugs)) I know how you must be feeling, it brought back sad memories of my beautiful dog I lost about 8 years ago and how upset i was x

Thank you so much Claire. This might sound terrible, but losing a dog is just as bad for me as losing a person. We’ve had to put down 2 other babies in the last 4 years because of illness, but we didn’t see this one coming.
