I’d like to issue a formal apology for the sun. In the last week or two the lighting in a lot of my shots has been less than optimal. That would be because all it has done for pretty much the last two weeks is rain and/or thunderstorm with intermittent periods of sunlight. Every. Day. The dogs need a little row boat to get to a dry spot to pee in the back yard. Normally I take my photos early in the morning or late in the afternoon to get the best light. But because of the bipolar weather I’ve had to keep an eye out the window and then when the rain stops I have to hurry up and run outside to get the shots in. Typically during these brief moments of non-storminess the sun is just hammering down. Hence the not so great bright light coming down through the trees and messing with my photo mojo.
Yes, I realize I posted gray tees two days in a row. I didn’t do it intentionally, but when you have a gazillion gray t-shirts it’s bound to happen. If you notice, they are two different tees so that makes it okay. Like I said yesterday, a gray t-shirt pretty much goes with everything so you can never have too many. This particular outfit was inspired by this pin that has been hanging out on one of my outfit inspiration boards for awhile now.
And how about my new white Converse sneakers? Are they not fabulous? I’ve never had an actual pair of Converse before and these babies won’t be the last. And to make them even more perfect, they’re slip ons. I told you guys my leopard slip ons ruined me for ever wanting to tie a shoe again. I’m just that lazy. And I want to let you know ahead of time that probably every outfit for the foreseeable future will involve white Converse sneakers. Just sayin’.
