Sometimes my husband likes to watch television in bed. Typically it doesn’t bother me, I can pretty much sleep through anything. If I’m having trouble sleeping though I have a leopard print sleep mask to block out the light. I hardly ever wear it. It’s uncomfortable and I feel like the Hamburglar when I have it on. (Be honest, who remembers the Hamburglar?) The other night I was sound asleep when my body realized that perhaps it wasn’t getting quite enough oxygen. The reason was pretty simple. There was a 47 pound bulldog laying completely on my torso. With his sweet little snout nuzzling my face. Not exactly nuzzling I suppose…it was more like an exploratory mission. I lifted my mask and he stopped, gave me a bully kiss and went back to his spot. Apparently he too thought I was the Hamburglar and it freaked him out.
